By using this website or submitting an application, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
A NOTE ON FINANCIAL PRIVACY: As a company that arranges real estate financing, we are also subject to federal financial privacy rules. If you become a customer, you will receive a separate GLBA Privacy Notice describing how we handle your nonpublic personal financial information. That notice governs in the event of any conflict with this policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Information you give us
When you complete our application form, request a quote, or contact us, we may collect:
– Identity information – legal first and last name of the primary borrower
– Contact information – email address, mobile phone number, mailing address
– Property information – property address, city, state, ZIP code, property type, occupancy (investment or owner-occupied)
– Loan information – financing strategy (purchase, refinance, cash-out, home equity line), purchase price or refinance amount, requested loan amount
– Credit information – self-reported credit score range
– Any other information you choose to provide in a message or during a call
If your application proceeds, we may later collect additional information required for underwriting, such as income documentation, bank statements, tax returns, and identity verification documents.

– Browser type, device type, and operating system
– Pages viewed, time on page, and referring website

Information from third parties
With your authorization, we may obtain information from credit bureaus, property data providers, and verification services in connection with a loan application.

If you check the consent box on our application form, you agree to receive SMS notifications, alerts, and occasional marketing communications from Cap Rate Funding.

– A successor entity – in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
We do not share your information with unaffiliated third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Credit application records are retained for at least twenty-five (25) months after we notify you of the action taken on your application, as required by federal law. Records relating to closed loans are generally retained for at least five (5) years after the loan closes. Where a longer period is required by applicable state or federal law, that longer period applies.
8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
– Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell or share
– Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
– Delete your personal information, subject to legal exceptions
– Correct inaccurate personal information
– Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
– Limit the use of sensitive personal information
– Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights
To exercise these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will verify your identity before responding. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Note that information collected in connection with a loan application may be exempt from certain CCPA rights because it is governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act.
Other states
Residents of other states may have similar rights under their state privacy laws. Contact us to exercise them.
Marketing opt-out
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any message, reply STOP to any text message, or contact us directly. We may still send you transactional messages about an active application or loan.
9. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Our site may link to third-party websites, including calculators, partner sites, and social media. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. Review their privacy policies before providing any information.
10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on this website. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
